Europa Point FC 1-5 Europa FC

EPFC were defeated in the derby last sunday. It was a positive start with the boys taking the lead through a corner whipped in by Tyler Garratt and headed home by centre back Sam Nicholson. EPFC started well and the gameplan was working until Europa equalised in the 31st minute with a sweeping counter attack. Two minutes later they took the lead undoing all of Europa Points hard work in the first half. It was a close game with both teams having chances before Europa scored their third from a long range effort in the 72nd minute. They then scored two goals in quick succession in the 83rd and 86th minute to take the game away from Europa Point. A tough loss to take after performing well for large periods of the game but the team look to next week where they face European side St Josephs.
